In 2016, movie fans were excited to see Ben Affleck turn to a caped crusader in the form of Batman.  Affleck’s career got a massive turn around with this special role. It was reported that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice grossed over $870 million around the world earning Affleck his biggest box office breakthrough as Batman and an astronomical paycheck which is the biggest in his career so far.

In the 90s, Affleck earned a name for himself in the movie industry when he starred in Chasing Amy, Dazed and Confused. However, the Good Will Hunting was his best move alongside long-time friend Matt Damon. The pair bagged $600,000 each for their roles in the film but that money was nowhere near enough for them.

Affleck got married to Jennifer Garner in 2005 but they separated in 2017 after a scandal erupted that he was cheating on his wife with the kids' nanny. Garner filed for divorce and the two moved their separate ways.
