He has written and narrated a short animated movie titled Dear Basketball, which won an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2018. The whole family must be devastated just as the millions of fans of Kobe at the news of his death. Kobe lost his life in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.
