The Hollywood actor has been a renowned figure in the entertainment industry and has laid his hands on a number of accolades and awards such as a Primetime Emmy, more than four Golden Globe awards, at least one Academy Award, the AFI Life Achievement, and the highly-esteemed Cecil B. DeMille Award. He got married to Diandra Luker in 1977, only to split in 2000. Douglas shelled out $45 million from his bank account to award the settlement amount to Diandra. He is now well settled in life with his second wife, the lovely Catherine Zeta-Jones, and he seems so much happier.

Jane Fonda & Richard Perry – Settlement: Reported $13 – 20 Million

They say third time’s the charm, but it’s already Jane Fonda’s fourth relationship, and she still seems to have no luck finding the right partner. With looks like hers though, does she need one? Sadly, Hollywood star Jane Fonda and music mogul Richard Perry, finally ended their relationship of eight years, with their divorce settlement amounting around $13-$20 million. They parted amicably and have been good friends to each other. Though Jane is already in her seventies, she is still highly impressive and active. However, our body can play tricks on us, hence we hope both the septuagenarians have good health insurances. Thankfully, they were not married and neither did have children, hence, they had avoided all the complex processes that come with divorce and child custody.

Madonna & Guy Ritchie – Settlement: Reported $76 Million – $92 Million

Madonna has always been hailed as the “Queen of Pop” since the 80s and rightfully so. She entered into a marital alliance with popular English entrepreneur and filmmaker, Guy Ritchie in 2000, but the marriage didn’t turn fruitful as the couple filed for divorce just eight years later. Both of them agreed that the spark which initially kept their relationship alive had gone out, and they had no choice but to part ways. As per Madonna’s publicist, the divorce settlement amount ranged from $76 million to $92 million.
