Pamela Anderson and Brendan Lee were the most popular and talked-about couple in the ’90s. The two met each other at a New Years’ Eve party and felt an instant connection. The two then left on a trip to Cancun, Mexico where after 4 days of boding together they exchanged their vows.

The couple married in front of their fans and instead of wedding bands, they decided to get a tattoo of their names on their ring fingers. After their happy marriage, the two moved to Brandon lee’s mansion and that’s when the storm hit. Their house was broken into and their personal valuables were being auctioned online.

The two filed several lawsuits and were constantly stressed over this ordeal. When this wasn’t enough after only 4 years of marriage in 1998 Pamela called the police and filed for divorce alleging child and spousal abuse. The couple then officially split on paper, and even though they got back together once Brandon Lee completed his time it only lasted for a while as things really got sour between them. The couple had two children and still remember each other with kind words.

Sarah Palin and Todd Palin – Settlement: Undisclosed

After three decades of marriage, it’s officially over between the power couple, Sarah Palin (politician) and Todd Palin. The former couple finalized their divorce last year after a non-contested hearing based on court records.

The news comes almost ten months after Todd had filed for divorce at an Alaska courthouse. This took place on Todd’s (a commercial fishing businessman) 55th birthday. According to the court, Todd stated incompatibility of temperament between the parties as to the reason. We believe they found it difficult to live together as the husband and wife.

The duo walked down the aisle in 1988. It is sad to see the couple splitting after five children and so many years of companionship. We sure hope that their divorce has been as amicable as possible.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein – Settlement: Reported $730 Million

The ruler of the Dubai emirate has fought this ugly and bitter battle with Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein for a long, and eventually, it’s reached a settlement point. The High Court ordered Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum to pay his former wife a whopping of £251.5 million. This is a lump sum to settle the divorce.

Apart from the huge amount, £290 million has been decided upon for child custody and maintenance and security. While the exact amount might differ, factors like reconciliation with the parent and the exact state would decide the amount.

The Olympic equestrian and daughter of King Hussein of Jordan is a powerful woman and exerted her rights accordingly. The High Court had noticed some notorious acts on Sheikh. This includes hacking his ex-wife’s phone using spying software and even harassing her multiple times.

Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen – Settlement: Undisclosed

Surprisingly Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen were tight-lipped about their personal lives when they stayed together. But things took a different turn when visible cracks were evident in their marriage after 19 years. So much was the effect that domestic disturbances led to hiring divorce lawyers.

The NBA legend, Scottie, has reportedly agreed to take the child custody amount. Besides that, he will also cover payments for support and maintenance for the couple’s two little kids. However, the real settlement amount stands undisclosed. The divorce attorneys had a rather difficult time finding a way out, as it was almost a never-ending, messy battle.

Larsa and Scottie have, however, decided to share the joint custody of their kids both legally and physically for now since they’re minors. In 2018, Larsa filed for divorce, and the agreement has finally stated the clauses that the duo will now follow in terms of liabilities and community assets.
