Nimrata Haley or Nikki Haley is an American politician, clothing executive, diplomat, and author who served as the 116th governor of South Carolina from 2011 to 2017 and worked as the 29th United States ambassador the United Nations. Nikki’s husband, Michael Haley, served as the first gentleman of South Carolina for six years.

As Nikki was the first female governor of that state, Michael was the first gentleman, and he was only one of the 15 first gentlemen in US history. In September 1996, Nikki Randhawa went down the aisle with Michael Haley.

They celebrated following the Sikh and Methodist ceremonies, and now the couple is proud parents of two children, daughter Rena, and son Nalin. It is heartening to note that the duo shares a great camaraderie and is there for each other in their respective careers.

Harris is a graduate of the Howard University and Hastings College of the Law. With an enterprising political career to boast of, Harris certainly has a lot to achieve in the days to come. She walked down the aisle with the famous lawyer, Doug Emhoff, in the year 2014.

Doug is a supportive husband and has stood by his wife through thick and thin. He is an advocate for justice and equality, and therefore, he has given his better half all the attention, care, and inspiration that she needed during her campaign in 2020.
