The $2.5- million home is a popular pick among wealth management experts, who have the notion that athletes are most likely to become bankrupt in a few short months after retirement. Phelps purchased the spacious home in 2015. The house features crisp white décor inside and out and offers brilliant views of Camelback Mountain. The family needed more space what with Phelps and his wife being parents of two and so this home seemed the right choice! He eventually had the Paradise Valley home he owned sold for $3.5 million and bought this beauty in the metro Phoenix instead. There’s a large swimming pool that their kids will love to play in, and we are sure they are making many memories in the home!
