John Fetterman And Gisele Barreto Fetterman — Together Since 2008
John Fetterman, the progressive junior U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, and his wife, Brazilian-born American activist Gisele Barreto Fetterman, are a power couple dedicated to reform and community revitalization. Their relationship began in 2007 when Gisele, moved by John’s efforts as the mayor of Braddock, penned a letter offering her help.
They married in 2008 and have since become parents to three children: Karl, Gracie, and August. Living in Braddock for over a decade, they’ve worked tirelessly for causes like healthcare rights, criminal justice reform, and community empowerment. The bond they share is not just marital but a partnership in purpose, fueled by a shared vision for a better society.
