Everything from stick fights to broken glass. The fans have made their way onto the ice at some point or another during a hockey game. It would be a significant understatement of the sport of hockey’s level of aggressiveness to refer to it as a “contact sport simply.” Fights and other forms of physical contact are not merely permitted but actively encouraged. On the other hand, whatever it may be, this event is not typically occurring. Is it possible that the photographer happened to snap a shot of them during a piggyback ride?

It is obvious that the two players depicted in the photo are on competing teams; perhaps this represents a novel method of intimidating competitors. However, the white player needs to be careful because his opponent’s hockey stick is dangerously close to his face.
