35 Years After The Chernobyl Disaster – This Is What It Looks Like Today
A Cultural Center With No Activities
Once upon a time, this auditorium inside the cultural center of Energetika was the meeting place of the city’s music and theater lovers. In a tumbledown state at present, the building is reduced to a deserted and damp place. The entire place looks creepy with its worn out ceilings and wooden chairs left to rot. With no attorneys vouching for its maintenance and repair, the Palace Of Culture Energetik looks like a ghostly apparition, and it stands as an absolute contrast to the original purpose of promoting arts and culture among the citizens of Pripyat. And there seems no hope of its revival either.
