He started out with small roles in various British TV series like This Life, Wuthering Heights, and The Woman in White, even landing a role in the famous rom-com Love Actually. His lifetime investment in his acting career finally paid off when he starred as Rick Grimes in the super successful television show The Walking Dead in 2010.
