There isn’t much of a difference between this 12-year-old Cassius Clay and an adult Muhammad Ali except for the fact that he was much thinner back then. Chuckles. Anyway, you must be aware that Cassius Clay was his actual name before converting to Islam and changing his name to Muhammad Ali. Cassius Clay took its place in the backburner as he regarded it as a ‘slave name’, and Muhammad Ali came to the forefront. A change in name was irrelevant though as he had a fighter in him since childhood, and the Louisville-born champion boxer became a legend in boxing history later on. Hitting the gym, having a hard workout, and punching his opponent’s face were the only things he was addicted to.
