Being a music addict, he picked the guitar over the bike. When in high school,  he and Krist Novoselic, his buddy, set up a band, making Novoselic’s mother’s salon their rehearsal pad. Nevermind, as many believe, is not the first album that Nirvana came up with. It’s Bleach, the 1989 album released under Sub-Pop Records. Visits to a rehab might have been there as he felt miserable, owing to his drug addiction. But his legacy in music continues, capturing the hearts of generations.
