Steve Buscemi has proved his acting abilities in movies like Desperado, Con Air, and The Big Lebowski. And now, he’s nurturing a newfound interest in directing, and so far, he’s doing a fine job. Though he always had a thing for acting and appeared many times on stage, his first chosen profession was to be a firefighter and served for four years before stepping into the limelight. In fact, when the World Trade Center was attacked, he returned to his old station and worked 12-hour shifts along with other firefighters in a search-and-rescue operation. He has also spoken for higher wages for firefighters. It is great to see someone who has so much respect for his former profession, and we can learn so much from a man like him.
