John Astin – 1930
John Astin became a well-known face when he appeared as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family. He had a fulfilling career, having had the chance to act in big hits like The West Side Story, National Lampoon’s European Vacation, and The Frighteners. Though he has retired from full-time acting, he has not lost touch with it completely. He continues to impart the skills and lessons he learned from his fruitful acting career as a teacher in the John Hopkins University. Though he’s not raking in big bucks from box-office hits, he is still earning good and doesn’t need too much retirement planning.
