Kathleen Hughes started her acting career back in 1948 when she signed a big contract with 20th Century Fox which was quite a feat for a newcomer. If you are a big fan of retro sci-fi flicks, you would be able to distinctly recall the veteran actress, and especially the cult classic, It Came From Outer Space, in which she played the role of Jane. After spending a couple of decades in showbiz, and appearing in more than 20 films, not to forget a whole gamut of TV shows, she announced her retirement in 1998. She just tries to maintain her fitness with the help of a professional trainer as of now. We wish her good health.
