Cora Sue Collins – 1927
Classic movies might be your cup of tea, but there’s always a good chance that Cora Sue Collins is a name you are completely unfamiliar with. Cora, a 1930s child star, is now a part of classic Hollywood history. Debuting in Hollywood with the comedy movie The Unexpected Father in 1932, Cora went on to act in numerous other memorable films, including Queen Christina and Heaven Too. However, it’s indeed a sad thing that she decided to retire from showbiz upon reaching adulthood and never returned to the glitzy world of Hollywood. In 1944, she married a Nevada native, Ivan Stauffer, but her first marriage was short-lived. Her last husband, Harry Nace, a theatre owner by profession, died in 2002. As of now, the former child actress mostly spends her time in her retirement home in Paris.
