Known by her screen name, Sally Bliss, Carla Balenda appeared in minor roles in a few films before she accelerated to the top when she was paired up with Mickey Rooney, one of the eminent stars of the silent films era. We still can’t get over her performance in Outlaw Women and Prince of Pirates. Although she made numerous appearances in a variety of television shows, it was her portrayals in films that have made her a name to reckon with, and her work still receives the same kind of applause and appreciation from the movie buffs and critics alike. Hopefully, Balenda is leading a life of retirement without having to worry about her health and the pension she deserves.
