Having acted in Hitchcock’s Vertigo, Kim Novak received huge recognition and worked alongside some of the biggest actors of that era like Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, and Kirk Douglas. After a string of successful hits, Kim took a hiatus from the world of acting in 1966. She was at the peak of her career then. Since then, she did a handful of films and didn’t get much success which worked well enough for her. Instead of trying to make it big in Hollywood, she opted for a second profession, and became a visual artist. She had studied art in college, and she pursued it further when she decided to retire from movies.
