42 Iconic Celebrities From The Golden Age That Are Still Alive – For Them Age Really Is Just A Number

Annie Ross — 1930

British born singer and actress Annie Ross was born to parents who were Vaudevillians. It is quite obvious that they had passed on their creative genes to their children. She became famous as one of the trio of Lambert, Hendricks, And RossHer brother was entertainer Jimmy Logan, while her aunt was singer and actress Elle Logan. As a part of the trio, Ross toured the world and recorded seven albums together, their first one being “Sing A Song Of Basie”Her films include Alfie Darling, Funny Money, Throw Mamma From The Train, Superman III and many others. She had definitely acquired quite a wealth in her active years. And once she left the group, she opened up her own nightclub in London called Annie’s Room. Just when she had it all, her addiction to heroin ruined everything. We don’t know if she was in a drug and alcohol rehab, but we do know that her addiction led her to bankruptcy. Hopefully, she is doing better in some retirement home now.
