Lors d’une couverture pour l’émission « Good Morning America », Sara Haines a eu un moment plutôt inattendu à Times Square, et Spider-Man n’a pas vraiment assuré! Pendant les festivités du Nouvel An en 2013, Haines a croisé le super-héros et a fini par trébucher.
Le héros n’était visiblement pas dans son meilleur jour. Heureusement, il l’a aidée à se relever, et Haines, avec son sens de l’humour habituel, a pris la chute avec le sourire. Ce petit incident restera probablement l’une de ses anecdotes les plus mémorables à raconter.
