Si Mike Bushell de la BBC avait su qu’il allait plonger dans une piscine, il aurait probablement choisi un autre jour pour ses interviews ! Préparé pour discuter avec un nageur des Jeux du Commonwealth, il avait l’intention de rester bien au sec, mais une marche sournoise l’a trahi.
Résultat : un plongeon dans la piscine devant des millions de téléspectateurs. Bien sûr, après avoir nagé, il a dû écourter son interview à cause de son équipement trempé. Les collègues de Bushell en studio ont eu un fou rire en le voyant se relever. C’est sûr, il ne va pas oublier cette journée.
