In 2015, a debate was sparked when John Brown of “Good Day Orlando” commented on a story involving cosmetics mogul Kylie Jenner. During the “Hot in Hollywood” segment of the show, which discusses various entertainment subjects, the journalist declared that Jenner naming her rabbit Bruce was a “non-story” unworthy of media attention before abruptly walking off the set.
Brown later clarified that his reaction stemmed from a media perspective rather than having any personal issue with the Kardashian-Jenner family. Interestingly, his co-host Amy Kaufman confirmed that the journalist had planned his viral meltdown on 104.1’s “The News Junkie.” The story created a lot of buzz and caused people to take sides.
