Hans-Peter Geerdes fue el nombre que recibió HP Baxxter cuando nació el 16 de marzo de 1964 en Leer, Baja Sajonia, Alemania. Se destaca por su trabajo como actor y compositor, algunos de sus créditos más notables incluyen Headfirst (2014), Top 40 List (1994) y Ratty: Sunrise (Here I Am) (2000). El nombre de su primera esposa fue Simone Mostert y tuvieron un hijo juntos. Scooter, una banda alemana de techno, está dirigida por él como líder de la banda. Tiene una colección de automóviles británicos antiguos y clásicos. Es dueño de más de uno de ellos. Junto con la banda Scooter, se le atribuye haber “creado” el género musical conocido como “Stadium techno”. Un tipo de música que funciona bien en ambientes llenos de gente, como estadios u otras grandes áreas abiertas. Destacado admirador de Inglaterra y el Reino Unido, así como del idioma inglés. El acto alemán que ostenta el récord del sencillo más exitoso de todos los tiempos con “Scooter”. Más de 20 éxitos entre los diez primeros en 2008. Terminó su relación con su segunda esposa, Simone Mostert, al divorciarse.
