After 45 Years, Man Withdraws His Penny Savings
Putting It All Together
Because Anders was in the habit of setting aside a penny from each purchase he made, he was able to amass a total of $5,136.14 for 45 years. An annual savings of $114.14 will be realized due to this change.
You may not give it much thought, but it was a significant amount for Anders. It seemed incredible to think he had amassed all this wealth simply by picking up pennies from the ground.
Anders could walk away with a sizeable amount of money after selling his beloved collection, although it was probably difficult for him to do so. But what exactly would he accomplish by making use of all of it?
