Mel Brooks é aquele tipo de artista multifacetado: além de um grande ator, o homem também escreveu diversos roteiros, dirigiu alguns filmes e até produziu algumas obras. Ele ficou bastante conhecido por films como S.O.S: Tem Um Louco Solto No Espaço, Banzé do Oeste e A História do Mundo – Parte I. Mel Brooks ganhou o Oscar de Melhor Roteiro Original pelo filme Os Produtores, em 1969, e já recebeu um Grammy, um Emmy e um Tony. Mais recentemente, ele participou das dublagens de Toy Story 4 e Hotel Transilvânia, em suas versões originais. Com um patrimônio líquido de US$ 100 milhões, Brooks chegou aos 93 anos com muita história para contar — e prêmios para exibir.
