Mel Brooks ganhou o Oscar de Melhor Roteiro Original pelo filme Os Produtores, em 1969, e já recebeu um Grammy, um Emmy e um Tony. Mais recentemente, ele participou das dublagens de Toy Story 4 e Hotel Transilvânia, em suas versões originais.
