Ela foi uma atriz, escritora, produtora e humorista que teve uma carreira memorável e papéis em filmes como Shampoo, The Blues Brothers, Hannah and Her Sisters, The ‘burbs e When Harry Met Sally. Apesar do seu sucesso, a atriz acabou enfrentando alguns problemas na sua vida pessoal e começou a usar drogas com o passar dos anos.
