Here is the cute little Andy at eight years old. Biographers of the Warhol family say that Andy suffered from involuntary muscle movements, owing to Sydenham’s chorea. That led to him to stay away from school, bedridden at home listening to the radio. After completion of high school, he pursued a career in Arts at The Carnegie Institute of Technology. Employed by Glamor, drawing shoes was his very first job. Though he has passed, his contributions to visual art and the investments he made in the introduction and fame of pop art still resonate and inspire many artists to this day.
