Dolly Parton – Née en 1946
Chanteuse, auteure-compositrice, actrice, philanthrope et femme d’affaires américaine, Dolly Parton a lancé son premier album en 1967 et est demeurée en tête des palmarès tout au long des années 1960, 1970 et 1980. Parton a également reçu une multitude de prix et a même écrit des best sellers pour de nombreux autres chanteurs. Son single à succès “Jolene” est connu pour être l’un de ses meilleurs et Parton reste l’artiste country féminine la plus respectée. Même si sa carrière musicale a diminué au fil des ans, Parton a continué d’investir dans les disques et possède maintenant sa propre compagnie, Dolly Records. Heureusement, elle n’a pas l’intention de prendre sa retraite bientôt.
