Metallica

Metallica is an American heavy metal band that was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich and has been based in San Francisco for the majority of his career. The band’s USPs are fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that are put together by Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer. Metallica’s performance at Moscow’s Tushino Airfield on Sept. 28, 1991, as part of Monster of Rock ’91, was known to be one of their most standout performances. It was the first free show and it was a personal record for the band; where more than a million people turned up to see them play, making it one of the most-attended shows in the history of rock concerts.
