Corey Ian Haim foi um ator canadense, conhecido por sua carreira como ídolo teen dos anos 80. Ele trabalhou em vários filmes e participou de um programa de TV chamado The Two Coreys, que foi ao ar pela A&E Network em 2007 e 2008. Foi através do filme Sem Licença para Dirigir que Corey virou uma estrela mas infelizmente o ator não conseguiu segurar o dinheiro e a fama devido à sua vida de excessos. Suas bebedeiras e vício em drogas o levaram a falência e a morte em 2010. As dívidas que ele não pagou e somaram cerca de US$ 200.000.
