JOHN WAYNE – 1975 PONTIAC GRAND SAFARI, ESTIMATED $40K
John Wayne, famously known as “the Duke”, is and has always been one of the greatest Hollywood stars from the Golden Age era. Known for his dashingly handsome cowboy-look, the Academy Award winner was often seen driving around his vintage 1975 Pontiac Grand Safari station wagon. He was so dedicated to this car that he even had it customized by none other than, Barris Kustoms. Sadly, the vintage ride was auctioned after Wayne passed away. We can’t help but wonder how much it went and if it brings back any western memories to the new owner. The Oscar-winning actor who gave a stellar performance in the movie True Grit was a huge draw at the box-office. No wonder he had fat bank accounts that helped him buy classy cars!
