O eletrizante Mad Max: Estrada da Fúria teve a sorte de contar com Tom Hardy como protagonista da história. No filme, ele dirigia um V8 Interceptor turbinado, que deu uma identidade memorável ao personagem e à obra em si. E, na vida real, ele também gosta de pilotar carros potentes e velozes. A preferência de Hardy parece ser a marca Audi: ele tem um Audi RS5 vermelho e um R8 Spyder preto.
O R8 é seu automóvel mais valioso e custou U$160 mil (R$640 mil), o que representa um valor relativamente modesto se compararmos aos de outras celebridades. O carro é conversível e custa o dobro do RS5. Além de Mad Max, Hardy também estrelou em filmes como Batman: O Cavaleiro das Trevas e A Origem, filmes muito rentáveis em bilheteria, o que explica o sucesso financeiro do ator. Embora tenha sido modesto em sua compra, não podemos negar que Tom Hardy tem muito bom gosto!
