Angela Lansbury estreou no cinema no filme À Meia Luz. A atriz, que foi nomeada a três Oscars, também participou de filmes como Sob O Domínio do Mal, A Companhia dos Lobos e O Retorno de Mary Poppins. Além disso, ela também atuou na dublagem de animações como A Bela e a Fera, Se Minha Cama Voasse e Anastasia. Angela venceu 28 prêmios e foi nomeada a outros 55. Mesmo não tendo participado de um volume grande de blockbusters, Mary Poppins teve reconhecimento suficiente para acumular um patrimônio de US$ 70 milhões. Aos 93 anos, ela não parece ter intenções de se aposentar tão cedo, e o que quer que ela tenha feito para se manter forte e jovial deu certo.
