A estadunidense Phoebe Cates, começou sua carreira como modelo e logo se transformou em atriz, ganhando destaque com suas cenas ousadas em “Paradise”e “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”. Cates tornou-se um ícone teen e alcançou status de estrela pin-up. Mais tarde, a atriz estrelou em “Gremlins”, mas logo desapareceu dos holofotes. Sobre sua vida pessoal, Phoebe foi casada com Kevin Kline e parece ter uma vida sossegada. A musa mantém sua beleza e seu físico em forma, embora não tenha usado cremes para a pele ou outros métodos.
