Don Johnson, nome artístico de Donnie Wayne Johnson, é um ator norte-americano que ficou conhecido por seu papel como o detetive James “Sonny” Crockett na série de tv Miami Vice, sucesso mundial nos anos 80. Foi devido à esse trabalho que Don recebeu um Globo de Ouro de melhor ator em série dramática. O ator, que foi casado com a atriz Melanie Griffith (Mãe de Dakota Johnson), era suspeito em um caso de lavagem de dinheiro, mas foi absolvido. Porém, ele foi incapaz de pagar a hipoteca e acabou perdendo sua casa. Em 2008, Don confirmou sua falência e através de um leilão imobiliário ele conseguiu liquidar a dívida de US$ 14,5 milhões. Além disso, ganhou um processo contra a Rysher Entertainment, arrecadando US$ 19 milhões. Podemos dizer que ele foi um homem de sorte!
