A cantora chocou seus fãs com sua perda de peso depois de ter passado algum tempo lidando com a doença de Graves. Apesar de Missy ter perdido 31 kg antes, depois de ser advertida por seus médicos, sua última transformação a fez perder 13 quilos e tudo graças aos treinos elaborados pelo treinador de celebridades Shaun T. Missy disse que não iria deixar sua doença impedi-la de ter uma vida saudável e desde então faz um esforço para manter sua dieta limpa, evitando açúcar, farinha branca, pães, etc. A perda de peso recente da ganhadora do Grammy a deixou brilhante e em forma!
