JOHN CASSISI – FORMER DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL CONSTRUCTION OF CITIGROUP

John Cassisi was young when he garnered fame for his role as Fat Sam in Bugsy Malone and he reprised his role in the spin-off series Fish in the ’70s. After quitting the entertainment industry in 1982, John was employed as the Citigroup’s Director of Global Construction.

He was involved in a bribery scandal and found himself behind the bars in 2015. He is serving a two-to-six-year prison sentence and has a $500K forfeiture. He is married with two children. John was discovered and picked for the role of Fat Sam when the director of Bugsy Malone, Alan Parker, visited a classroom in Brooklyn and asked the kids to point at their “naughtiest” classmate.

Sporting that white beard, Phillip is hard to recognize these days, but he certainly hasn’t lost touch with style. His appearance has changed drastically since his Miami Vice days, and the 68-year-old cuts a different figure nowadays. He was in the limelight with his portrayal of detective Ricardo Tubbs, a character he plays alongside Don Johnson and had a completely different demeanor.
