Karyn Parsons – Non-Profit Filmmaker
If The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has not yet lost its ‘freshness’ in your mind, you would be able to instantly recall Hilary Banks, a character perfectly portrayed by Karyn Parsons. Once the show came to a close, Karyn saw quite a few lucrative offers coming her way and eventually starred in the 1995 comedy flick Major Payne and in The Ladies Man later on. She now works as a non-profit filmmaker for Sweet Blackberry, a non-profit entity she founded with an aim to teach children about uncelebrated heroes through a series of animated movies. Since it’s a non-profit venture, we just wonder how she manages to refinance her mortgage or even pay her life insurance premiums.
