Suzzanne Douglas
Suzzanne Douglas, una actriz experimentada destacada por su trabajo dentro y fuera de Broadway, fue mejor conocida por su papel en la comedia de WB The Parent ‘Hood’. Falleció en su casa en Martha’s Vineyard el 6 de julio de 2021 por complicaciones relacionadas con el cáncer, a la edad de 64 años.
En una de sus entrevistas más conocidas, afirmó que tendía a elegir papeles con conciencia social. Tuvo un papel protagónico temprano junto a Gregory Hines y Sammy Davis Jr. en Tap (1989), interpretando el personaje de la hija de Davis en el programa. Ganó un premio NAACP Image por su actuación en el programa.
