These Celebrities Served In the Army Before Becoming Famous, Some of Them Were in World War II
Eileen Collins
Eileen Collins made it to the list of one of the only four women who were selected for Undergraduate Pilot training at the Air Force base. Later on, she became an instructor in the US Air Force Academy. Her career got a new high when she was selected to be an astronaut by NASA. In 2006, she took retirement from NASA to spend more time with her family. However, retirement homes are not for her. She had a great career and received a lot of awards in her lifetime. We are sure she spends her Veteran’s Day in style and remembers those who had fought for the country.
