These Celebrities Served In the Army Before Becoming Famous, Some of Them Were in World War II
MC Hammer
Stanley Kirk Burrell, popularly known as MC Hammer, has tasted success as a hip-hop star with his records such as “2 Legit 2 Quit” and “U Can’t Touch This”. But prior to a successful musical career, Stanley was a minor officer serving the United States Navy. But as luck would have it, due to his incessant desire of donning loose pants and his refusal to put on a shirt, led to his honorable discharge from the Navy. His tenure was not more than three years, and we guess he wouldn’t be eligible for veterans loans or veterans benefits in the future, though we are not aware if he has already received them.
