The American star is a renowned LGBT advocate, and she grabbed the spotlight with her portrayal of Sophia Burset in Orange is the New Black, a popular series on Netflix. Not only is she an advocate for LGBT rights, she also strongly believes in being real and beautiful. Quite often you can spot Laverne without makeup, and she’s been a regular at that since 2015 when she chose to post a snap of hers on Instagram where she exhibited her actual self, filled with pride and genuineness. We don’t know whether she has been to a cosmetic surgeon or not, but what we do know is that she is gorgeous, with makeup or without.
