Remember the stubborn kid Lydia Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire? Although Lisa Jakub debuted in hollywood with the 1985 flick Eleni, it was Mrs. Doubtfire that helped her reach the pinnacle of stardom. The sad part is that her school heaved her out for too many absences during the filming of Mrs. Doubtfire and even if Robin Williams wrote a letter to her school authority, it didn’t work. Lisa later starred in Matinee as Sandra and retired from acting at a rather young age in 2001, only to pursue the career of an author. The former child actress has already authored two books and has stated that she has no plans to return to the big screen. We believe she has already got her investments and life insurance policies sorted.
