GEOFFREY HAYES – TAXI DRIVER
The late Geoffrey Hayes happened to be the presenter of Rainbow, a popular child show of the 70s. Before that, he appeared on Z-Cars police drama on BBC1 and he was also later credited as a writer in some of the credits for The Great Pony Raid and Rainbow. He appeared as a taxi driver in a music video by No Way Sis band.
After the show ended, Hayes’ career took a fall but he was seen in a series of humorous TV commercials about investments, making fun at the expense of his career plunge. However, in recent years he began appearing on TV as a guest, most notably on Pointless Celebrities TV talk show. He died in 2018, aged 76.
