Roxie Roker and Lenny Kravitz
Roxie Roker is the mother of rockstar Lenny Kravitz. But long before Lenny stepped into the spotlight, Roxie became famous as the Bahamian-American actress who was in the TV show The Jeffersons. She rose from a poor background as her mother worked as a domestic help and father as a porter. But her acting skills took her to places and opened numerous doors of opportunity for her, and she won several awards in her lifetime. Clearly, she had made the right kind of investments in her career. She kept working in the 90s till her death at the age of 66 due to breast cancer. Lenny was her son from her marriage to Sy Kravitz.
