With 18 Grammy awards and 75 million records that sold all over the world, she’s one of the greatest singers the world has known. After referring to one divorce attorney, she still went for her second marriage and has four children. One of her granddaughters, Victorie Franklin, who’s Kecalf’s daughter has taken inspiration from her grandmother. She’s making good progress as a budding singer after debuting in 2014 when she was just 14. Besides, she also sang at the BET honours that had Aretha as one of the prime members in the audience and she went totally emotional seeing her perform. There’s no doubt that we can’t get over the tragic loss of the legendary singer but we can all hope that the 18-year-old Victorie represents in college programs and makes her mark in the industry as well.
