The Broad Beach home, with its Balinese design and price tag of $14.8 million, went on the market in 2011. The Hollywood couple had rented it for $95,000 a month for nearly three decades before that. Even though renting was successful, they had difficulty selling the beachfront property.

Broad Beach was created in the 1970s when companies like General Motors and Exxon were at their peak.
