Sharon Rooney started her career in the field of comedy. She performed on stage for years and finally landed a role in My Mad Fat Diary which gave her enough recognition to be cast in a few more projects like Brief Encounters and Two Doors Down. However, a talented girl that she is, she wanted to explore other roles and was tired of being stereotyped as the fat girl.
She started working out and included a lot of cardio exercises. That helped in bringing down the weight a bit and eventually, she lost 25 pounds. It is good that she didn’t go for the surgical methods and opted for the natural way to weight loss.
