DMX was, without a doubt, one of the best selling artists of all time. He hit it big with an album that went platinum five times and had a few blockbuster movies to his credit. Perhaps he considered his bank account invincible – so when he garnered up debts by various means, he easily imagined they would eventually get paid off. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and soon he was battling $10 million in debt and facing foreclosure and potential bankruptcy. So much debt is rarely ever paid off no matter how much the person holding it is. DMX hasn’t made much of a comeback and never saw his career be as successful as it was back in his glory days.
